ENTRY TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
Entry is open to all juniors.
Closing date is Thursday 23 January 2025.
Entries must be made through SportyHQ and players must be a paid-up member of Squash SA through SportyHQ.
The draw will be available on SportyHQ by Thursday 30 January 2025.
Prizes are awarded at the discretion of the organisers.
Players not attending prize giving will forfeit their prizes.
Entry fee is R380.
PLEASE DO NOT EMAIL THE ORGANISERS FROM ONE HOUR BEFORE THE TOURNAMENT STARTS AND THROUGHOUT THE TOURNAMENT. If you need to contact us please do so via Whatsapp - 082 582 7080.
Play times are as follows:
Friday: 5pm - 9pm
Saturday: 12pm - 8pm
Sunday: 8am - 3pm
Players must be available for the duration of the tournament and no special requests will be accommodated.
All age groups will play throughout the weekend and prize giving for all will be after the last game has finished.
Protective eyewear is compulsory.
All players must mark and referee the match after their match. Winner referee and the loser marks. Failing to mark or referee could result in disqualification.
The personal use of cell phones while marking / refereeing is forbidden.
Players are to ensure that they are ready to play 30 minutes prior to their scheduled match time.
Any player arriving more than 10 minutes after their scheduled play time will forfeit the match.
The PARS scoring system will be used. U11 and U13 play to 15. All other age groups play to 11.
U11 and U13 use a yellow bot ball, all other age groups use a green dot ball.
Players must abide by Squash SA rules.
Protective eye wear is compulsory.
Tournament referee’s decision is final.
Joburg Junior Squash does not accept responsibility for loss or damage to equipment or belongings.
Players agree that Joburg Junior Squash and/or SA Schools Squash may use photos/images/videos of the players for purposes such as celebrating achievement and publicising squash events and may be posted to any social media platform or the JJS website.

It was unbelievable hot inside the club. It would really be helpful if the aircons were switched on or some fans could be used.
I understand there was loadshedding, but the heat was unbearable. Even open windows would be helpful.
